Meet Nicole Soroka and Gracie Lowes! The hosting duo first met in 2023 through the Toronto International Film Festival's Media Inclusion Initiative. Both Nicole and Gracie have worked in the entertainment journalism industry for a number of years, covering film festivals and red carpets, reviewing a variety of films, television shows and music, and interviewing a number of filmmakers and artists. Nicole is currently obtaining her Bachelor of Journalism at Toronto Metropolitan University. She has experience working in live radio at Met Radio 1280 AM, as well as contributing a variety of written articles to Her Campus TMU, Met Radio, CanCulture and The Eyeopener. Gracie has two degrees in Public Relations and Journalism from St. Clair College. She started her own media outlet, Backstage Features, in 2021 and regularly contributes to Tell-Tale TV. The pair's passion for entertainment brought them together to create their own weekly podcast, As Scene on Screen! Join them each week as they discuss the latest pop culture news, review the latest films and share conversations with industry professionals.
